"Do you install all of your products?"

Yes.  Many carriers do not.  They
usually pay someone to or take a
commission for selling, which costs you
more.

Can I actually see a full slab of my granite choice?

Absolutely!! Not only that but we also give you the
opportunity to hand pick your slab!

Can I see my templates on my slab of granite
before it is cut?

Sure! What you can do is just let the staff member that
helps know that you would like to do so and we will call
you after the templates are made and show what your
counter-top will look like but placing them on the slab for
you.

Do have any granite remnants or a "graveyard"?

We sure do! We have a remnant yard that has a array of
slabs in different colors and sizes and at the discounted
price they are perfect for bathrooms, desks, and other
small areas in your home.

I heard that you have to seal granite is this true?

Yes this is true. We seal your granite when it is installed
and then we recommend sealing it once a year.

Can I seal my granite myself or do I have to have
a professional seal it?

You can absolutely do it yourself. We seal granite sealer
here at Marble Works for only $20.00 a bottle but they
are a lot of other stores that have started carrying it as
well.  The sealing process takes about 20 minutes. Now
isn't 20 minutes once a year worth having a stunning
counter-top?

What do I clean my counter-tops with?

We recommend not using anything abrasive or anything
that has a grit to it because it could scratch your tops.
For Natural Stones 409 has come out with Natural Stone
cleaner, but regular 409 or Windex works great as well.
For simulated stone , solid surface, and cultured marble,
409, Windex, Scrubbing bubbles all work great.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept Cash, or Check. Unfortunately at this time
we are not accepting credit or debit cards.

When to go with which:

Granite:
When beauty is the bottom line.   The
small amount of required
maintenance does not bother you.

Cambria:  When you want the look of
granite with a more consistent color
pattern.  It has the thickness of granite
with less maintenance.  This
engineered stone is made in
Minnesota.  This material is classified
as Engineered Stone.

Silestone: Very comparable to
Cambria with only a few differences.  In its main
application, it is 2cm with a
laminated edge.  This product is
exported from Spain and fabricated in
the US.  This material is classified as
Engineered Stone.

Cultured Marble: When you want an
integrated sink with a cost efficient way to add
beauty to your bathroom.

Solid Surface:  When you want a less
expensive countertop, that does not
look like it is.  The main "perk" with
going with the Solid Surface is the non-
visable seams.

"Can Natural stone and simulated
stone scratch, chip or break?"

Yes!  Any product can do all three with
excessive force.  It is important for any
consumer to know that.  Natural stone
has fissures (very small cracks) which
with brunt force could extend, some
stone is more porous than others.
Suggestion: do not hit it with a
hammer!!!!!!

"Can my granite stain?"

Yes.  Granite is naturally porous and
grape juice, wine and other dark
products can potentially stain or
damage it.  Sealing periodically can
help.  Also, darker colors help to
disguise these stains. Marble and travertines are
more susceptible to staining then granite.
